Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

As a registered voter, I write to ask you to support full budgetary restoration of funding for CUNY's community colleges for 2009-2010. In today's difficult economy, a high school degree is simply not enough of an educational credential for career success. Your help is needed to expand academic programs and student services at community colleges in order to assure that New York City moves into the future with an educated, skilled workforce. Also, your help is needed to bring up community college facilities, by fixing roofs, upgrading deteriorated facades and updating old science teaching labs to a state of good repair. Please speak up for quality public higher education.
